Wilson and EJ have continued to play well but the avs haven't played a complete game in a while. As stastny continues to play flat.

Really though is it that hard for Sacco to not have a player in the dog house playing poorly all the time. There always seems to be someone. He also continues to show when this team starts to lose, he doesn't know what to do.

This team is just too hot and cold. Some consistency would be nice. Galli and Mueller played well.

Also Giggy was out of his mind tonight.

At the end of the year though, this offense is going to have some serious questions.

As good as landeskog is, for him to be 1 point behind stastny is just not ok. Even though duchene is having an off year, he is still part of our core.

If the avs fall into another losing streak, things are going to get very interesting.

The only thing against shipping him out is with his contract I doubt we would get equal of greater value for him.

I mean when you just throw out some teams that might be interested such as Buffalo and Tor, I am not really crazy about anyone we would be getting back. Especially the latter.

The ducks or the canes have some valuable pieces but thats more of a dream at this point in time rather than a reality.

CBJ are also a team that would pull the trigger, but I really dont like Brassard and nash isnt realistic.

Vermette and a prospect for Stastny would be cool as Vermette is one of my favorite players that could bring the avs some good leadership, but I am having a hard time finding a deal that would bring back a solid point producing player.

The avs could also try and go for a Kopitar for Stastny + type deal. Kopitar just went down for an injury. We are talking about the guy who gave away the world for Penner though lmao

I would do that. I'd also try to Anaheim for Ryan/Bonino. With them in line to get Yakupov or Grigorenko they could move Ryan and still replace his offense. Avs get more size up front and the Monsters get a young center with whom David Quinn has worked before (he went to BU while Quinn was there).

They also get a second line center in Stastny and a winger that he has chemistry with. Sounds like a good match.

I'd pass, Roy has had injury problems and is similar to stastny at a pretty consistent pace. Also I think jones is better than Gaustad. Heck, i think Jay mac is better than gaustad.
